A Roseburg man turned himself in for a warrant that he thought was out for his arrest on Saturday.

An RPD report said the 56-year old flagged an officer down in the 100 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard at around 4:00 p.m. As it turned out there was not a warrant out for him. However, his parole officer authorized a detainer for his arrest for failing to report to the officer.

The man still landed in jail where he was detained without bail.
