Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief following an incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said shortly before 10:00 a.m. the 38-year old allegedly broke into a CenturyLink junction box that was still in service using an approximate three-foot steel stake. The incident reportedly took place in the 2700 block of Aviation Drive.

The man was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and for a parole violation. He was held without bail.
