The Roseburg Public Library invites the community to a Zoom online event with the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.

OJMCHE educators will present “Resistance and Rescue During the Holocaust”. The 90-minute workshop will address human behavior, analyzing the action and inaction of people confronted with systematic hatred towards others. They will share the tools of resistance, and discuss, contextualize, and examine examples of Jews and non-Jews who engaged in resistance during the Holocaust. The program will conclude with a group discussion.
