The Oregon Legislature’s Joint Ways and Means Committee has scheduled a series of public hearings on the state budget and Douglas County is one of their stops as they meet with citizens from around the state.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to testify at each of these events. Times and locations include:

*Saturday April 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the PAC auditorium of Portland Community College’s Sylvania campus

*Friday April 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Center in Newport

*Friday April 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg

*Friday April 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario
