Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving while suspended early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. an officer observed the man driving north in the 1500 block of Southeast Stephens Street and knew he was suspended. The officer contacted the driver and confirmed the suspension. He was taken into custody and charged with driving while suspended-misdemeanor and cited for driving uninsured.

The 34-year old was detained without bail.
