Roseburg Police contacted a man Monday night at about 10:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens Street as an officer knew he had a warrant for his arrest. The 46-year old was detained and then told officers he had ingested a baggie of fentanyl moments before he was contacted.

He was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center and admitted. After treatment, he was cited and released
