TWO MEN JAILED ON TRESPASS AND THEFT CHARGES

Two men were jailed by Roseburg Police on trespass and theft charges early Saturday.

An RPD report said just before 4:00 a.m. officers responded to a store in the 2200 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard after a caller said the suspects were eating food from the business without paying for it and refusing to leave or pay for the food. The 35-year old from Roseburg and the 41-year old from Eugene were both charged with second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft.

In addition, the younger man was allegedly found to be in possession of about a half gram of methamphetamine. He was cited for the violation amount of the drug. Bail for each man was set at $2,500.

A Roseburg man was jailed
