Roseburg Police charged a man following an alleged harassment incident on Friday.

An RPD report said just after 12:00 p.m. an officer contacted the 35-year old in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard due to a failure to appear warrant out of Cottage Grove.

He was taken into custody without incident. While transporting the suspect to Corrections, he reportedly spit on the officer through the custody cage. The man was charged with aggravated harassment, third-degree criminal mischief and for the warrant. He was detained without bail.
