ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DISTURBANCES

Roseburg Police jailed a man following alleged disturbances which took place on Thursday.

An RPD report said an investigation into the series of incidents revealed that 30-year old Michael Carney allegedly twice threatened a victim while pushing her and breaking a door. He also reportedly twice slapped the victim’s phone out of her hands while she was trying to call for help.

Carney returned to a residence in the 900 block of Northeast Parkview Court in the evening and was taken into custody. He was charged with two counts each of menacing and interference with 911, second-degree criminal mischief and for harassment. Bail was set at $25,000.
