CAMAS VALLEY MAN CITED FOR DRUG VIOLATION

A Camas Valley man was cited for a drug violation by Roseburg Police early Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 12:20 a.m. an officer stopped the 32-year old for expired tags in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The driver was detained for failure to carry and present a license. The officer allegedly noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view and the suspect consented to a search. Officers reportedly noticed a small amount of fentanyl in his pocket. He was cited for a violation level of unlawful possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance and then was released.
