The Umpqua Valley Audubon Society has a talk regarding birds on Wednesday night.

“Survival in an Unpredictable World: How Birds Respond to Environmental Stressors” is the title of a presentation being given by Oregon State University Associate Professor of Integrative Biology Jamie Cornelius. It will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Roseburg Public Library.

Professor Cornelius’s research seeks to better understand what limits fitness in the face of storms, drought and fire. Her professional journey began in Washington state and continued in Germany, Russia, California, and Michigan, before coming to Oregon State.
