A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday above 1,500 feet for central Douglas County and Jackson County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected, with higher amounts at higher, remote locations.
The Advisory includes Camas Mountain, areas near and south of Canyonville, along with Jacksonville, Ashland, Butte Falls and Prospect.
Forecasters said travel could be very difficult. Hazardous conditions could impact commute times.
Drivers should slow down and allow extra time to reach their destination. Carry tire chains and be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities.
