March 6, 2023 3:30 a.m.

Roseburg Public Library is inviting the community to be part of a Zoom online event with the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday March 23rd.

Educators from the organization will present “Resistance and Rescue During the Holocaust”. It will be a 90-minute workshop that will address human behavior, analyzing both the action and inaction of people confronted with systematic hatred toward others. They will share the tools of resistance and discuss, contextualize, and examine examples of Jews and non-Jews who engaged in resistance during the Holocaust. The program will conclude with a group discussion.
