In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association presents the 51st annual Greatest of the Grape – Oregon’s Oldest Wine Celebration on Saturday May 6th at Melrose Vineyards.

The event runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with VIP early access beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Those attending will experience Umpqua Valley wines along with hearty appetizers. 16 wineries will feature their top selections to sample from a souvenir glass. Live music from Inoke, a silent auction and a wine wheel are part of the evening.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a non-profit whose mission is helping children in need sleep better.

General admission tickets are $90 with VIP tickets $125.
