Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged harassment incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:30 a.m. officers investigated a disturbance in a tent on the riverbank in Fir Grove Park on West Harvard Avenue. Evidence revealed that the 48-year old had pushed a victim down in an apparent attempt to keep her from leaving.

The suspect was charged with harassment and for a probation violation. He was detained without bail.
