FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE IS THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

March 2, 2023 3:00 a.m.

The Friends of the Roseburg Public Library will have a book sale Thursday through Saturday.

Library Director Kris Wiley said thanks to generous donations from the community and library patrons, there are more books than the Friends can store, so special prices have been set.

*Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., children’s books and mass market paperbacks will sell for 25 cents each. All other books will be priced at 50 cents

*Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., all books will be marked at 25 cents

*Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., everything will be free.

Wiley said the sale includes all items in the Ford Room as well as the Friends Book Store inside the library.

Inventory that has been donated or withdrawn from the library may be slightly worn and have library markings. The sale will feature history titles, cookbooks, science fiction and mysteries for adult readers in addition to children’s books and young adult fiction.

For homeschool families, there are free K-8 math textbooks available on a first-come, first-served basis.
