A transient was jailed for a warrant and cited for driving while suspended on Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 9:10 p.m. a deputy recognized the woman’s vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 1500 block of Northeast Stephens Street in Roseburg. The deputy knew that the suspect was wanted for a warrant.

As he neared her pickup, the woman drove it to a different spot in the parking lot. The deputy contacted the transient and placed her in custody. Bail was set at $3,500.
