Readers of The News Review will find a new section dedicated to veterans, active military and the community that supports them in Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper.

Called Military Life, the section will be printed to show support for those that have served, are serving, or are helping military personnel.

Managing Editor Sanna Godfrey said, “Douglas County is known as a place that supports its veterans and this is a natural extension of that’. Godfrey said, “We appreciate their sacrifices and the sacrifices made by their families’.

Godfrey moved to her new position February 15th having previously served as the news editor, education reporter, page designer and sports reporter.

The News Review will continue to celebrate veterans with a special section that is published around Veterans Day.
