Onward Roseburg is seeking a few more volunteers to help open the Roseburg Warming Center to guests Friday night and Saturday morning, but the center will not be open on Saturday night.

A City of Roseburg release said everyone in need of temporary shelter on especially cold nights will be welcomed at the center, which is housed at the Roseburg Senior Center at 1614 Southeast Stephens Street. The weather forecast for Saturday night does not meet the severe weather criteria so the facility will not be open then, according to warming center operator Kimetha Stallings.
