Icy weather led to a freeway wreck on Wednesday morning.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 8:50 a.m. southbound vehicle was in the left lane when the driver lost control on Interstate 5 near the landfill interchange. It struck the center barrier causing damage to the left rear fender and tire. The vehicle was towed by a flatbed trailer as the damaged tire broke off the vehicle. The driver was not injured.
