Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged hit and run incident on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said just after 7:00 p.m. the 39-year old crashed his pickup into an SUV in the 200 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and then fled the scene. The suspect was located later in the 100 block of Molalla Court and taken into custody.

He was charged with hit and run-misdemeanor, driving while suspended and for driving uninsured. The suspect was released Wednesday morning.
