Roseburg Police charged a woman with third-degree theft following an incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 5:00 p.m. a 40-year old called and said the owner of a business in the 2200 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard had locked her in the store because he suspected that she had stolen some merchandise. The investigation concluded that the suspect had taken $57 worth of merchandise.

The woman was booked and released from the Douglas County Jail.
