The driver was cited following a DUII wreck Monday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 9:30 a.m. the 51-year old crashed her sedan into a parked vehicle at the corner of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Waite Avenue. The woman was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for evaluation. She consented to a blood draw and returned with a blood alcohol level of .29. That is over 3 and a half times the legal level of intoxication for a motorist to be cited for DUII.

The driver was held at Mercy for further testing but was eventually released. She was cited for DUII, driving while suspended-violation and for driving uninsured. The woman’s vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene. Officers were unable to contact the owner of the vehicle that was hit.
