The Celebration of Literacy is happening in February.

The annual series of events is presented by the Altrusa Club of Roseburg and the Umpqua Reading Council.

Activities will take place at several libraries around the county, including the One County, One Book contest. The annual literacy play will be held February 22nd and 28th at Umpqua Community College.

The signature event takes place on Saturday February 18th at Wildlife Safari. Free books will be given out in the Safari Village. There will be a book walk, book exchange, story time, and crafts as well. Drivers with a Douglas County address will get free entry to the drive through.
