December 25, 2022 6:00 a.m.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10:00 a.m. Sunday for much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility will be less than a quarter of a mile in dense fog.

The Advisory area includes the valleys of central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said driving will be hazardous due to low visibility. Drivers should slow down and allow plenty of room between their vehicle and other vehicles. Use low beams, keep headlights clean and don’t use cruise control.
