Roseburg Police jailed two people after an alleged burglary incident.

An RPD report said over the past few days the victim’s storage unit was entered and several items had been stolen from it. The unit was in the 3900 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.

At about 4:50 p.m. Monday an officer drove by an address on Northeast Chestnut Avenue and observed two of the suspects standing in a garage. They eventually came outside and were arrested without incident. Officers recovered a significant amount of the stolen property from the residence.

The suspects, a 24-year old man and a 33-year old woman were each charged with first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. They were detained without bail.
