An Air Stagnation Advisory has been extended through Monday night at 10:00 p.m. for the valleys of southwest and south-central Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said stagnant air is expected, with light winds and poor mixing. This will likely lead to deteriorating air quality, especially in and near locations with significant sources of air pollution. It is expected to cause issues for people with respiratory problems if precautions are not taken. Those with respiratory illness should follow their physician’s advice.
