AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY

December 15, 2022 4:00 a.m.

An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect through 4:00 a.m. Saturday for much of southwest and south-central Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said stagnant air is expected, which may lead to deteriorating air quality. That is likely to cause issues for people with respiratory problems if precautions are not taken. Those with respiratory illness should follow their physician’s advice for dealing with diminished air quality.

State air quality agencies highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible.
