The Roseburg City Council acted on a number of items on its agenda Monday night.
Councilors accepted the resignation of Victoria Hawks from the Planning Commission, with regrets.
They approved an ordinance amending a comprehensive plan map and zoning map involving property in the 700 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. A resolution regarding exempting a contract for information technology management services from the competitive bid process and awarding a soul source contract to Systech, LLC for an amount not to exceed $441,000 per year, was approved. A resolution authorizing an application for Community Development Block Grant Funds for a technical assistance program, passed as well.
Staff was directed to bring back a resolution referring a measure to the May 2023 special election with the amendments that have been proposed by the City Charter Review Committee.
The council meeting adjourned just before 9:30 p.m. The next council meeting will be on January 9th and will include the annual State of the City Address from Roseburg Mayor Larry Rich.
