The Roseburg – Umpqua Lions Club is having a candy sale for the Christmas holidays to raise funds to benefit various community projects.

Club members are selling See’s Candy through December 24th or until the candy sells out. The Lion’s bright yellow candy trailer is located in the northwest corner of the Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot off Northwest Stewart Parkway. Candy sales take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.

100 percent of the profits from candy sales are used for the club’s projects to assist people in the community. Over the years, the Lions Club has donated or contributed monies for a variety of local projects. The club has been selling See’s Candy for over 35 years.

In addition, the public is welcome to bring their used eye glasses to the candy trailer. Donated eye glasses can bring the gift of sight to those less fortunate.
