LOCAL COVID-19 CASES UP BY 60 PERCENT

Local COVID-19 cases are up by around 60 percent for the week ending on Wednesday.

An update from the Douglas Public Health Network said 140 cases of the virus have been reported in the last week. That is up from 88 cases reported in the prior week. No COVID-19 related deaths have been reported.

Since the start of the pandemic in January 2020, 440 county residents have died related to the virus. 25,271 cases of COVID-19 have been reported.
