OREGON HOUSE REPUBLICANS ELECT LEADERSHIP FOR UPCOMING SESSION

On Tuesday, the Oregon House Republican Caucus elected its leadership for the 82nd legislative session.

A release said the caucus re-elected Representative Vikki Breese-Iverson of Prineville to serve as House Republican Leader. She began serving in the legislature in 2019 and was first elected to serve in this role in 2021.

Breese Iverson said, “I look forward to continuing to serve alongside my friends and colleagues in this role. We will continue to fight for much-needed balance. House Republicans will not stop pushing for solutions that focus on the most critical needs of Oregonians”.

Representative Shelly Boshart Davis of Albany was elected as the Deputy House Republican Leader while Representative E. Werner Reschke of Klamath Falls was elected to serve as the House Republican Whip.

The 82nd Oregon legislative session begins on January 9th.
