A vehicle struck an embankment after hitting a patch of ice Thursday night.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 10:15 p.m. a vehicle was southbound on Interstate 5 near the fairgrounds exit when it uncontrollably left the roadway, going onto the shoulder and striking a rock embankment. The driver was not injured.
