December 2, 2022 3:50 a.m.

The Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights continues through January 1st at River Forks Park, northwest of Roseburg.

Celebrating its 30th year, the event is presented by the Roseburg Rotary Club starting nightly at 5:30 p.m.

Residents can see over 500,000 lights on over 90 animated displays as they drive through the park.

The Dutch Bros Holiday Village returns this year but is in a new location, at Riversdale Grange on Garden Valley Road. It is open Thursday through Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. through Christmas Eve. Families can meet Santa Claus, see a model railroad, and enjoy cookies along with hot chocolate, coffee or warm cider.

Funds raised through the Festival of Lights benefit Rotary Club scholarships to students.

One $10 ticket per vehicle allows admission to the displays and the Holiday Village. Tickets can be purchased online, at the park or at the village. More information about the Festival of Lights is at: https://www.uvfestivaloflights.com/
