Umpqua Actors Community Theatre opens its production of Humbug, Thursday night.

The script portrays Elenore Scrooge, an intimidating Wall Street executive whose lust for money and stature has left her cold, hard and disillusioned to anyone who stands in her way. Called an “upbeat and moving adaptation of Dicken’s holiday classic”, Humbug will be on stage Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday afternoon matinees at 2:00 p.m. Performances continue through December 18th.
