LOCAL COVID-19 CASES DROP 12 PERCENT SINCE LAST WEEK

Local COVID-19 cases have dropped 12 percent since last week.

An update from the Douglas Public Health Network said there have been 88 cases of COVID-19 in the county for the week ending on Wednesday. That is down from 101 cases reported the prior week. No new deaths have been reported related to the virus in the last seven days.

Since the pandemic began in January of 2020, 440 county residents have died related to COVID-19. 25,131 cases of the virus have been reported.
