A man was jailed after allegedly throwing a beer bottle through a window on Saturday.

A Sutherlin Police report said the incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. when the suspect said he wanted to go to jail, so committed the crime at a business in the 100 block of Ponderosa Drive. The damage was valued at more than $1,000.

The 28-year old was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained without bail.
