One person was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle rollover accident on Interstate Five north, three miles north of Winchester on Wednesday.

Information from Douglas County Fire District No. 2 said the wreck was reported just after 9:30 a.m. First arriving crews found the vehicle laying on its side with the patient inside. The vehicle was stabilized and its roof was removed with hydraulic tools. The female driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center.

DCFD No. 2 was assisted by the Oregon State Police and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
