AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY IN PLACE THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT

November 23, 2022 4:00 a.m.

An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in place through Friday night at 10:00 p.m. for central Douglas County and nearby areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said stagnant air is expected, which may lead to deteriorating air quality.

The Advisory area also includes Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County. Forecasters said diminished air quality is likely to cause health issues for people with respiratory problems if precautions are not taken. State air quality agencies highly recommend that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible.
