A four-car crash followed a vehicle fire on Interstate 5 northbound Thursday afternoon.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 1:00 p.m. traffic had stopped due to the fire near the Oakland interchange when the chain reaction wreck occurred. No injuries were reported but the flow of traffic was impacted while the scene was cleaned up.

No citations were apparently issued.
