An early morning fire Friday at a home on Mellor Loop in Winston was mainly contained to one bedroom.

Information from the Winston-Dillard Fire District said crews were dispatched just after 5:00 a.m. Initial reports stated that three teenagers were trapped inside.

Firefighters arrived to find a two-story structure, with a daylight basement, with fire seen through a door on the back of the structure. All occupants were accounted for outside of the home. The fire extended from the exterior of the home into the bedroom and the attic. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Douglas County Fire District No. 2 assisted at the fire.
