The deadline to apply for an open position on the Roseburg City Council is Friday, December 2nd.

The available seat is for Ward 1, Position 2, which covers northeastern parts of the city.

Interviews for those who apply will take place at the Monday December 12th council meeting. The person selected will serve until the end of 2024.

Those interested can apply online using this form, or download the form and then email it to: info@cityofroseburg.org. The application can also be turned in at City Hall on Southeast Douglas Avenue.

So far two people have applied for the seat: David Mohr and former councilor Dick Filley.
