In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Umpqua Symphony Association will have its Denim and Diamonds Gala 2022 on Friday night at the Roseburg Country Club.

The event will honor Jean Hinkle, one of the founders of the Douglas County Youth Orchestra, and also the organization’s Angel Donors, who have provided support throughout the years.

A few tickets are still available for the fundraiser. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person. Call board member Tonya Theiss-Skrip at 580-5537 to make a reservation.
