Umpqua Actors Community Theatre has two productions in December.

Executive Director Melanie Schwegel said Humbug and A Charlie Brown Christmas will be on stage. Schwegel said two matinees of Humbug are already sold out.

Humbug is an upbeat and moving adaptation of Dicken’s holiday classic and features Elenore Scrooge, who is an intimidating Wall Street executive whose lust for money and stature has left her hard, cold and disillusioned. It plays Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. The production runs from December 1st through December 18th.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is based on the classic animated television special. It features a younger cast and plays Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. from December 5th through December 20th.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets for both productions can be purchased at www.uact-theatre.com.

Ushers can help with Humbug shows and will be admitted for free. Those interested in helping can contact UACT at: UACT admin@uact-theatre.org.
