A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 8:00 a.m. Thursday for central Douglas County.

An Urgent Weather Message from the National Weather Service said visibility of a quarter mile or less in dense fog is expected. Driving conditions are hazardous due to low visibility. Areas of freezing fog may also cause slippery conditions on sidewalks and roadways. Motorists should slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and the one in front of it.
