COUNTY COVID-19 CASES UP 67 PERCENT FROM LAST WEEK

COVID-19 cases in the county went up 67 percent from last week.

Information from the Douglas Public Health Network said there were 94 cases in the seven days ending on Wednesday. That is up from 56 cases reported in the previous week.

No one locally died related to the virus in the last week.

Since the start of the pandemic in January of 2020, 438 county residents have died related to COVID-19. 24,492 cases of the virus have been reported.
