Local property taxes are due by Tuesday.

A release from the Douglas County Tax Collection Office said the envelope provided with the tax statement can be used for the quickest processing. Payments can be made via a cashier’s check, money order, or personal check.

Tax payments can also be placed in the 24-hour secure drop box located in front of the courthouse. They can also be brought to the tax collection box in the hallway outside the tax office from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. In-person payments can be made in room 205 of the courthouse during business hours.

Online payments can be made through a tax payment portal linked at: https://douglascounty-oregon.us/

To receive the 3 percent discount, payment in full must be received by Tuesday.
