Alek Skarlatos is not yet conceding his 4th Congressional District race to Democrat Val Hoyle.

As of 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Hoyle is leading by about 23,000 votes, or 8 percentage points. A statement to News Radio 93-9- FM and 1240 KQEN from the Skarlatos campaign said, “I appreciate everyone’s support. While I recognize that we are trailing, nearly one-third of the vote has not been counted and it’s why AP has not called the race”. Skarlatos said, “I will have an updated statement as more ballots are counted”.
