The Umpqua Community College Fine Arts Galley has a new exhibit.

Sue Bradford’s “Legacy” examines the language used to define women using dress and apron motifs. Bradford, from Napa, California, examines ways in which feminine lineage manifest and how stories of women are told. Most recently, this exhibit has been shown in Utah and throughout California.

Bradford said, “In my prints, pages are chosen for words used to describe girls and women and which speak specifically to being female and have been woven into our social structures, language and established hierarchies”.

“Legacy” is open through December 8th. Gallery hours are weekdays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
