Over 38 percent of local voters have cast a ballot in the November General Election, as of late Friday.

Douglas County Clerk Daniel Loomis said the 33,563 ballots that have been received lags slightly behind the participation rate for the same point in the 2018 November General Election.

Tuesday, November 8th is the election deadline. Those who mail their ballots in must do so early enough so that it is postmarked by that date.
